In October it is time again. From 21-26.10.2011, the Busworld, the biggest and most renowned specialized exhibition for the coach and bus sector in the world takes place in Kortrijk, Belgium. This year, the biennial event presents the latest developments and technologies of the industry and attracts once again interested experts and visitors from around the world. On more than 50,000 m² exhibition space, the Busworld covers the sectors coach and bus builders, bus accessories, public transportation and tourism.

Also GEA Bock presents established solutions and new developments in Kortrijk this year. Besides the vehicle compressors of the FK-series for classical Diesel engines, new technologies have moved into GEA Bock's focus. For example special compressors for the use in hybrid systems.
These electric powered compressors offer numerous advantages for mobile applications. The aluminum version is for example about 40% lighter than comparable standard compressors and contributes to the innovative lightweight construction of vehicles.

Also the GEA Bock classics, the valve plates in K- and N-design are presented at the trade fair. The K-valve plate was specifically developed for the high demands of a bus air-conditioning system. With the N valve plate, GEA Bock offers a less expensive alternative for the K-design that can be used for bus air-conditioning as well as all other applications.

With this broad portfolio, GEA Bock is prepared for today’s and tomorrow’s demands of air-conditioning systems and is able to present individual solutions and new developments at the Busworld.
